Resmed strikes again

Post by JeffH » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:25 am

Don't know if this has been talked about, but I bid on a Swift FX mask on cpapauction site and it got canceled. When I wrote to the site to ask why I got this reply...

Greetings,

I am sorry the auction you bid on was terminated, however Resmed - the manufacturer of this mask, has implemented a new policy.

Resmed has prohibited us from accepting auctions for its product on CPAPAuction at this time. We apologize for this inconvenience and would absolutely accept your listing were we able to. We will keep you updated should anything about Resmed's policy change.

Sincerely,
CPAPAuction

JeffH

So sorry you lost out on your bid. I was lucky enough to win a ResMed mask auction just the other day.... must have been one of the last to do so before this happened.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Jeff
I'll bet they used the "we will no longer supply cpap.com with product if cpap auction does not stop sell Resmed"
Norma

I remember several years ago golf retailers were cutting prices on their clubs below the suggested retail price. Ping found out who the retailers were and stopped them from selling Ping clubs for a year. They thought it would keep the price of their clubs high. Well they lost market share to other brands because it pissed off many who love the game of golf. I will never buy another set of Ping clubs.

Same with this. I like my swift FX but I will never buy another. There are other brands I can learn to like.

Roster, I'll just call the people with Resmed who are responsible for this , fecal heads.

Earlier today, I clicked 'no' on the 'let others see my equipment' bar. I urge others to do so as well
(if they are using rm products.)--'reprehensible miscreants'.
Frankly, I can think of no reason we should advertise for these creeps;
and I have decided I will order a Hybrid as soon as I have my ducks in a row.

I agree with you about the no equipment, but I am keeping my listed.

The object is to hurt the company not the members using this board.

Equipment list are helpful for users trying to get help.

I have all ResMed products.......but at this point would give it all up if I could afford to, just to be done with their insane policies. I hope a drop in market share will follow. They are truly crazy!

I had a thought. I think we need a thread where people can post what they would like to have. Like,I need a large xxx mask. Then if someone has that mask or what ever they can send a PM to the person needing that item. That way you could continue using your favorite mask without buying from Resmed. They sure couldn't stop that.

Thats a good idea.

Disable the link for RESMED products.

They will probably have to exhaust the instock supply before they do that so they are not stuck with them.
