Success!!!!!!!!!

Post by MissMissy » Fri Aug 27, 2010 8:34 am

Just thought I would check in and see what's up. My, how the looks of the site have changed from when I used to come on here daily! It's been a while, and just wanted to say hello, and that I have been using my cpap EVERY night for the past 6 years, and I have to say it has changed my life. For all of you out there who are struggling along, I can only tell you to never give up. I cannot sleep without my machine and mask. It was so hard to get used to for me, but in the end, it's totally worth it. Don't give up!! You CAN do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks MissMissy for the encouraging words from one who has been there. I go back in to the sleep clinic tonight for my second round. The first night was really bad. The told me I had SOSA (61/hr) and was put on a mask machine that night. Well that was even worse - could not get comfortable nor could I sleep. So, I'm back agin tonight with a sleep aid (Ambien). Let's hope this works. From what I read on this site most people struggle with the correct mask - I'm hoping I'm not one of them - but if I am I will NOT GIVE UP - I NEED THE SLEEP.

Encouragement is a wonderful thing - Thanks!!!
