My Rescan program help!!

Post by Boston Guy » Sun Aug 22, 2010 10:27 pm

I open my rescan program to upload the data, insert my sd card into my laptops sd card reader, and it says "connect a flow generator or data card and try again."

Any ideas?

Have you defined a patient? That's step one.
The you select the correct flow generator (machine) for the patient you've defined.

Then, if you want to read, and save your data, the best way of doing it is:

Opening the patient
Dowloading the data after the patient's data files have opened.

Whe you dowload, be sure to select "detailed data" in addition to the summary.

Click OK in the "Connect a flow generator..." dialog.

The download dialog will appear showing no data available for downloading. Wait a few minutes and the data should appear.

I think you have to wait for ResScan to scan your machine looking for devices.

At least that's what happens to me. But I am using an S8 with the oddball ResLink adapter and it's outdated SmartMedia card.

Even when I went and made a new patient from scratch, it gave me no option to choose or add a flow generator or choose a machine. I'm wondering if I should go out and buy a sd card reader for the usb port and see if that works.

I fired up Rescan on Windows 7 and am having some issues.

Has anyone had problems with things not showing in the windows? I am having issues with part of the screen not showing even if I maximize the window.
