New to Resmed S9 Data

Post by jumbulias » Sat Aug 21, 2010 10:34 am

Hello I just downloaded data from my S9 Sd Card. What numbers are important. I am running the machine in auto mode with pressure from 4-20. In the past three weeks there were 5 days where my AHI was 4.3 and the rest went from 10-16. my average pressure was eleven. Should I adjust the machine or should I just leave it where it is at. I can definetly tell a difference when when my AHI is lower. Any help Appreciated. Thanks Brett

hi there,
you have a great machine there..
when I got mine it was wide open at four to twenty too..

question.. do you have any problems when you are at your titrated pressure? Do you find it difficult to breath against it?

Do you use your ramp feature?

do you use the EPR expiration pressure relief feature?

there are settings on the EPR from one to three... each number gradually allows you to exhale at a lower pressure..

Most folks would suggest you tighten your range a couple numbers below and above your titration pressure.. but it depends
on how you feel with that range..

I tried really tightened mine up, but couldnt handle it, so I went back down to six... but my pressure is about ten/eleven. Now Im at six to thirteen instead of four to twenty.

Hello I Set the machine machine at 10-15. My tritation level in my sleep study was 13-10. With it set at that level my ahi whent to 14.0. alot higher. the next night I set it at 7-15. my ahi was 4.0. I dont understad why there is such a big difference in ahi. My mask did not leak either night. Does everyone have such a big difference in ahi every night?
