Software installed...need help

Post by Tired Linda » Fri Aug 20, 2010 9:03 pm

O.K., so my Encore Viewer software is installed, and I pulled up my report from the last 4 days. Of course, i really don't have a very good idea of what I'm looking at, except that my AHI appears to be higher than it was at my titration.

Exactly what do I need to post for someone to help me understand it?
Then I use photobucket to post it here?

What you need to post are located in the full data download, The dailies are all you need to post. Jim

Save it as a PDF and then upload pertinent pages to an online photo album like photobucket or flicker (Flicker is getting harder to use for some reason?).

There's a tutorial for reading data on Respironics machines on my website here: http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/2010/0 ... -tutorial/

Goofproof--Thanks, that's what I thought I needed

and

Janknitz, Thanks, and *&^*##@### !!! (unless I still don't get it, but someone please correct me if I'm way off...)

I had a sneaking suspicion something wasn't quite right. I've been wearing my mask all night, and sleeping, but something kept telling me my pressure just wasn't high enough. My AHI from the titration study was 17.7. Doc's report indicates I functioned pretty well at pressure of 11. My prescribed pressures are 7 to 15. (I checked, that is how my machine is set)

My data shows my Avg. 90% pressure as 14.8, my Avg. CPAP pressure as 12.1, and my Avg. AHI as 18.8.....
I have some leak issues, but I'm finding that the more I relax, the more mouth breathing I'm doing. I woke up this morning fighting the tape. I do have an appointment on Monday for a mask fitting and I'm going to be looking closely at full face masks.

I also think that come Monday morning, I'm going to fax my data over to the doc's office and ask for some feedback. Sound like a plan?

Of course, if my doc's office ignores me, I know where to turn next.

By the way, my husband announced this morning that HE's sleeping better...ain't that grand?

An excellent tutorial by Janknitz. Now, is there anyone who's able to do a similar tutorial for Resmed software data...Pleezze?

brian
this is a site that I like very much with great intro on how to read your Rescan charts
http://osahelp.com/ and has been listed in this forum

After almost 3 months of using Rescan 3.11 and S9 and compare this to EncorePro & M series and Encore Pro and System On that I used for 3 years , in my opinion the S9 Rescan combination is superior
