OT (Kinda): Topic Reply Notifications

Post by BleepingBeauty » Wed Aug 11, 2010 8:39 am

Hi, all.

Don't know if cpaptalk is having issues or my ISP is, but I received four Topic Reply Notifications this morning, when none of those threads has a new post in it. The last posts on those threads was over a week ago, but the Notifications are all dated today. This has never happened before. Very odd.

Anyone else having similar issues?

It has happened to me as well, but I guessed someone had edited a post, maybe?

Thanks for your answers. (sepool, your avatar makes me want to grab a Kleenex and hit my monitor with it. )

I got the answer via PM. Apparently, there were some recent spam posts in those particular threads (which were deleted before I logged in this morning). So the Notifications went out because there were new posts in each of those threads, but they were removed before I got there.

For a forum that's basically unmoderated, ya gotta love how quickly the junk posts are dealt with!

Miko, I don't know what to say about your late notification re: PM's. That one's a head-scratcher...
