Intellipap Smartlink - export data?

Post by tomandlu » Tue Aug 03, 2010 9:55 am

I have a Devilbiss Intellipap w/Smartlink module. I want to export the data (e.g as a csv or txt file), as I want to plot it in another program (and merge w/my oximetry data). I haven't found an export function in the software. Anyone figure out where/which directory/what format the data are in? I started browsing the directories, but I am too tired and have no patience this morning for it.

Thanks,

Luanne

Unfortunately, the version of the SmartLink software does not have an export feature to save data in a raw format and the oximetry data is exported in a specific format for the Nonin software to read.

I'm glad to see you posting, DeVilbissMarketing! It would be nice to be able to learn more about the IntelliPAPs and SmartLink that the company literature doesn't tell us. We know DeVilbiss makes good devices but because Resmed and PR have such a large market share we seldom get to learn much about the DeVilbiss devices.

Do you know if your company has any plans to adapt the SoftLink data to a format compatible w/the Nonin software? Or vice versa? Even csv or pdf export formats would be appreciated.

If you are trying to preserve the data from the screen, use a screen capture tool to create images of the reports. One incredible tool to try is http://www.evernote.com/ which would allow you to create a folder in which to keep all the captures. I used it to set up a folder in which I collected all the various masks I am interested in along with the links to the pages on cpap.com where I can buy, if I want.

If you want to just use a capture tool, try Snagit http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.aspor some others that are equally good. I am a Mac user and LOVE SnapNDrag by Yellowmug http://www.yellowmug.com/snapndrag/
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
