BiPAP and an activa mask?

Post by Sleeping Better in Texas » Fri Oct 28, 2005 7:41 pm

Has anyone experienced some discomfort with using a BiPAP machine with an activa mask? The director at my sleep clinic suggested that it wouldn't work well with the BiPAP because of the way it inflates and deflates on your face.

I have been using it for a few weeks and it does take some getting use to. If you have had a similar experience, do you get use to it? Is there a better mask to use with a BiPAP.

I do like that I can move around, sleep on my side, etc. with the activa mask. I also like that it doesn't have to be so tight fitting on my face because of the way it creates a seal when I inhale and exhale.

Thoughts,
