teeth and jaw problem

Post by blourie » Thu Jul 22, 2010 6:06 pm

I have been waking up recently with my lower jaw pushed forward in an underbite with my tongue between my teeth. I am a fairly newbie (November) and have severe apnea, machine set at 18 and 4 liters of O2 I just recently switched to swift 2 nasal pillow model and find it some much better and quieter to use. It was recommended to me by a friend before that I had a nasal mask. Anyone else experience this problem and found a solution?

Any chance you've been sleeping on your back, forcing your jaw forward to try and open your airway more? That's a bad position for all of us.
