I have been on Cpap just over a month now and it seems my AHI numbers are all over the place I am up loading last nights stats in hope that you all will have some in put. my pressure is 10cm in cpap mode with EPR at 2, up to this point.
first time pics so not sure
I am considering switching to autoset and min 9 max 14 just to see if it will help get me a lower AHI
I feel pretty good but can tell when AHI is higher than other days
looking for your input
Chris

It looks like leak is flat - that's great. So maybe tweaking pressure might help. I can only speak for S8 - not sure if this applies for S9.
When EPR is set at 2 and cpap is at 10, the 'effective' cpap pressure can drop to 8 during exhalation. You have a number of options:
1. Reduce EPR and/or increase pressure - so if you want to keep EPR at 2, try cpap at 12?
2. Try apap. Again, if EPR at 2, set initial range to 10-14, after a few days, your 95th will probably be around 12. You can then fine tune apap at that time, maybe set to 12-15 range.
As long as leak line is pretty flat, once you find the 'right' pressure, Ai should drop quickly.

Thanks DTSM
for the reply. I did not relize that EPR made that kind of a difference, it was set there by the DME I will work on getting off the EPR. I did set the machine to autoset last night at 9-14 (great minds think alike) and was right in After reading your post I can see I am headed the right way.
Thank you for the input
Chris

KC5cychris ,Sorry to change the subject but how do you get those charts to show up on resmed 3.11?

If you press the report button last one on the right, you can see the graphs like this for the day or days that you have selected
Glad to help

I downloaded the software the other day, but I do not see the graphs for minute ventilation, events, or snore index either like what is shown above. Thanks for any help. I have had my machine now for 7 nights and have not felt any improvement yet. I am still waking up 3-4 times a night, about every hour and half. My AHI for last night was .3 and leak was 24.
