Anyone Else Who Had Jana R. Cooke, MD As Their Specialist?

Post by ecocyber » Tue Jun 29, 2010 4:55 pm

I was very disappointed to learn today that Jana R. Cooke, MD, my Sleep Specialist, has left the group she was with here in the San Diego area. I am interested to know if there are any other patients of her's here in the cpaptalk.com community? I had the greatest respect for her abilities and would love to know where she went. My hope is that she is still local.

In any event, I may be looking for a new specialist in the North County San Diego area. Any advice would be appreciated. My experience has taught me that there are many Sleep Specialists, but few GOOD Sleep Specialists.

Best regards.

I said that!

To clarify, I use a modified Infinity 481 nasal prong mask and love it; and I use Encore Pro 2.2 to analyze my sleep statistics.

Is medicine now like hairdressing in that when someone leaves no one will tell you where they went?

The first listing in Google has her here

http://www.neurocenter.com/pdf/dr-cooke-CV.pdf

Is that a new clinic or the one you saw her in Ecocyber?
Canada...I can't say anything nice, so I won't say anything at all.

So many cats, so few recipes.

I think she is at the VA in La Jolla. Not sure but it's worth a try if you can use the VA.
