auto titrating bipap

Respironics said they released the bipap pro 2 auto titrating machine Wednesday 10-19-05. Has anyone seen any information from any of the sites on this along with pricing?

Thanks for the link! That's the only place I've seen it listed so far. I guess the others will have it soon. I will get one, checking prices which will probably take a week to come out...and checking to see if the auto can be turned off and use just like the bipap pro2 with biflex. (if necessary because I don't like the auto titrating)

Good news!!! It's now at cpap.com too! For the BiPap Auto with BiFlex machine, integrated heated humidifier, bag, hose and manuals, the cost is $1499.00.

That's GREAT! Now if I can just get my DME to order it for me, since they already have a copy of the prescription I got the doctor to write...

Has anyone gotten ahold of one of these yet?

You are right WTTM. I inquired about the price and they told me $1420. They reduced the price for a short time to the $1420 and sent me an email and said I could order from the site because the price was changed. Well, I didn't know it soon enough and they went back up on it.
Cpap.com had it listed for $1499 w/humidifier during this time. They reduced it to $1399 and I inquired if they dropped the price and they said yes. Well, as it turned out, that was just the machine with no humidifier. So as you can see, it is very difficult finding out what a good price is. I think it will stabalize at $1450-$1500 depending on the site. Wonder what would have happened if you ordered it at the $1399 price? It said with heated humidifer, bag, hoses and manuals. It would have been quite a suprise to just have got the machine. (I even had one site quote me a price of $1389 for the auto with humidifier, PN 1017442 Auto Bipap with heated humidifier) Not to sure if would hold up if I tried to order from them.

It seems that the cpap auto has either high or low settings. Does anyone know, does the bipap auto have a high/low setting or does it just auto titrate, finding the proper setting? Just wondering how it can tell what should be high and what should be low with out some sort of perimeters...and differential between the ipap and epap.
