Question about ResMed S9

Post by IsrvChrist » Fri Jun 18, 2010 7:32 am

Does the ResMed S9 work with the standard CPAP hosing or do you need to get the slim line, or the heated hose that are made for it? Like I have posted before I am looking at getting one soon, and wonder if the hoses I am going to have accumulated by then will work.

Just called Resmed. They said a standard hose will work. The only thing that changes is the hose diameter, not the connectors.

Although, the ClimateLine heated hose is something you may be interested in, being in Michigan with the harsher dry winters. I'll be looking into that in a few months as well.

HTH.

Thank you for the information. I plan on getting the heated hose and such, but I am not sure what my INS will pay for as in hoses for the S9. Right now I get 1 (regular) hose every 6 months.

You can use a standard hose... just be sure to set the hose type on the machine to standard--the default is slimline.
