dancing a happy dance!

Post by bailachel » Tue Jun 15, 2010 8:47 am

A few weeks ago I switched from a nasal mask to nasal pillows. This has turned out to be an excellent decision for me. I downloaded my data from last week and I had my best results ever.

Averages for the week:
AHI - 0.6 highest AHI - one day at 1.2 and lowest AHI - one day at 0.0!!!.
PB - 0.1%
CA - 0.4

OA - 0.0 !!!!!!! 7 days in a row - 0.0 !!!!

Hyp. 0.2
RERA 0.4
large leak 0.0%
large leak 0 secs

My diagnosis is severe OSA. These results are especialy amazing to me since I had to travel for work last week and spent 4 of those nights in a hotel room with roommates.

I can't believe how well this mask is working for me. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps up.

Roommates? Yikes. I get along with my colleagues, but I'd not be allowing such an invasion into my personal life and space.

Regardless, that's not why you posted.

Congratulatulations!

Sharing the room is not my preference either but unfortunately, that is the way the company does it and since I don't want to spend my own money to pay for a separate room........

I'm trying to look at it as an opportunity to educate my colleagues about SA.

Dude, that sucks. If you were a woman, that wouldn't happen. And yes, that makes it discrimination.

But if you can live with it.

1. I wanted to point out that she is a woman o I hope she doesn't have to share a room with men or I agree that should be an issue.

2. CONGRATS I too have had great luck with my pillows

thanks everyone!

Roman, don't worry about it, using a picture of my cat as my avatar does make it more difficult.

Yeah, but if I'd have looked for the little pink "F" under your location, that would have been a simple thing on my part.

Thanks.
