OT When ya' got'a go.......

Post by carbonman » Sat Jun 12, 2010 7:28 pm

No bike riding today.....just rain.
Very unusual for a storm of this magnitude and length
to occur in June. Usually we just have the afternoon
thunder/ lightening/ cloud burst/ tornado storms that last a few hours.
It has been raining off/on all day and to continue through tomorrow.
With the snow melt in full swing, the creeks are full,
with the added rain things are getting interesting.
Sage and I went to have a look

Normally I would be flying through here on my bike.

Along the creek. Normally this is 6' across and a few inches deep.
It is running at least 3-4' higher than normal.

You know how when you go for a walk w/a dog.....
they are either expecting you to wait for them...
while they check out some new smell.....
Image
or they are wondering why you're going so slow.
"What's the hold up??"

"You're lagging behind.....AGAIN!"
Image
...and then....when ya' got'a go.....ya got'a go.
Image
......aaahhhhhh.....it's all good.

Although no one else here seems phased,
By the pictures of the dog named Sage,
I don't quite believe what I'm seeing...
Did his owner post a photo of him peeing?!

Sage reminds me of my boy Mac. Thanks for the memory and the great pictures.

SU, I'm guessing the thread title was inspired by the picture in question.
