RERA or UARS.. ??

Post by firyspell » Fri Jun 04, 2010 1:17 pm

hi dear,

i have RDI = 25 but no apnea and hypopnea .... Still i feel tired and decrease memory and concentration....

i have ordered Resmed S9 auto-Pap... Is the FLOW Limitation is same as RERA/UARS and can S9 detect these accurately or i have to use RESCAN for it............

So any thoughts about using S9 in auto mode or cpap mode to bring RDI less than 5..

in otherwords how should i proceed either using auto or cpap mode... for RERA / UARS.

Also can Data in S9 shows RERA / UARS on the machine or with RESCAN...

Advice will be appretiated...

thx

Maybe I missed an earlier post if you gave the information, but have you identified what is causing you to have an RDI of 25? Did they diagnose you with UARS?

If not you may be putting the cart before the horse. Also of note, the only way to monitor your RDI is through the EEG portion of the sleep study, the CPAP will not give you info regarding your RDI.
Canada...I can't say anything nice, so I won't say anything at all.
