Pulmonary hypertension

Post by needingu » Wed May 26, 2010 4:34 pm

It is interesting to read the ages of when the dx of each was made . However, I would like to see who has ever been dx with pulmonary hypertension , and what age.
Thanks

I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension when I was 33. It was secondary to my muscular myopathy and after 3 years of bipap & oxygen at night it was no longer an issue (though I still get an echocardiogram every 2 years).

At 60 the major reason I was sent for a sleep study was PH - trusting that CPAP therapy will be effective.

Was diagnosed with PH at 39.

After 2 months on CPAP, all signs of PH gone.

Yes, my PH was Dx'd secondary to COPD.
