Newbie Introduction

Post by Lindapat » Wed May 19, 2010 11:22 am

I've always snored. Recently, my husband told me that I "seemed to stop breathing at times during the night". I told my
doctor this and he immediately referred me to the Sleep Study office.
Well, I've just received my diagnosis of Moderate Sleep Apnea. Evidently, 17 times per hour I demonstrate sleep apnea. And my low
blood oxygen level was calculated at a low of 81%.

So, I'm bound for a CPAP. I will be scanning through this forum, and perhaps asking questions, as I move toward working this machine
into my lifestyle. My family history of heart disease and diabetes is really going to push me to work hard at accepting this as part of
my sleep structure.

I look forward to getting to "know" y'all. So far, this forum looks like it is a great bunch of people who want to help. And that helps a lot.
When I get my machine, I'll update my profile to reflect.

Linda
