System 1 resistance setting for Swift masks

Post by soulfixinman » Mon May 17, 2010 5:48 pm

Anyone have the system 1 resistance settings for a Swift 2 or Swift FX?

My DME set mine at 0 but I am looking at all my settings and seeing if I can get my
AHI down a little like it was on my Respironics "older tank" bipap auto w/biflex.
I saw that the resmed medium pillows were set at x2, so I am hoping that is a good place to start
as I am not sure how much difference there will be between 0 and x2.

There is a chart for resistances somewhere in one thread, make a research. But for now I tell you that X2 is the good setting for the Swift, I have one and I set it as per the chart and it was X2. For the Activas nasal masks it should be X1, I have never used 0.
