Best Auto Bipap

Post by soulfixinman » Wed May 12, 2010 7:10 am

Well I have not been on here for quite some time,
everything is going great thanks to this forum teaching me to take control of my own therapy.

I have a script for a new auto bipap, doctor wrote auto bipap Remstar , so is the system one the one to get?
I have the old encore software and card reader for my old tank auto bipap,
but from what I read here it will not work if I get the system one auto bipap.

So I would like to get the newest machine but could go with the m series to save a few dollars.

any opinions?

Go w/the SystemOne, even if you went w/the M Series you would still need a new humidifier. The S1's data card can be used in a standard card reader that you can get at Radio Shack, Best Buy, wherever. There are those who can PM you about the EncorePro 2.2 or EncoreViewer 2. So very little extra outlay at all, especially considering what you are getting. I have the S1 Auto BPAP right now on loan and am getting every bit as good therapy as w/my Resmed VPAP Auto and I was never a Respironics fan. The extra data is interesting.
