Fitting an Aura?

Post by Golden Gater » Tue Oct 18, 2005 1:08 pm

Does anybody have any clues on how to get an Aura to stop from leaking? I like the fact it does press on the upper lip, but there doesn't seem to be ways to adjust it so that it doesn't leak.
Thanks

Do some searching on this site on Aura, and you will find a lot of links. I use one extra 3 inch stretchy strap around the cannula, it covers from the top of my nose to the bottom of the cannula. That seals all night with no discernable leaks.

Good luck,

Golden Gater,

Which nasal seal are you using? I've found that the smaller one works better with the aura.

Also... rotate the headgear as far back as you can go...it works best to do this in front of the mirror.

If all this fails...many have used a piece of womens pantyhose tied around your head to gently persuade the nasal seal to stay against your nose.

Sincerely,
