so much for my perfect record
I woke up before my alarm this morning...Swift and headgear lying on my pillow. I don't know how I managed to get it off. I went to bed quite late last night so was no doubt overly tired. Everything was comfortable when I fell asleep and I don't remember waking or getting up.
I'm hoping I was so tired that I just didn't notice the hose catching on my pillows and pulling it off. Something like that. I'm going to try the scrunchie attached to the headboard thing tonight.
I've been so glad that this is going so well and I haven't had any real adjustment problems. I'm trying to be patient in waiting for good things to come from my tx. I don't want to mess it all up with this happening repeatedly.

Twinsanity,
Don't worry, it will get better with time, I know it's hard to believe. I did the same thing all the time when I started (I WAS A TOTAL MESS!!!!) In a few months (alot of people it doesn't take that long!) you will be feeling so much better it will all be worth it!!!! Take care of yourself and good things will happen!!!! Everybody on this site is here to help with advice, love and laughter!!!!

Twinsanity,
Welcome to the "club"!
I'd venture to guess that almost everyone using CPAP has done that at some point in their therapy. It's frustrating, I know, but you'll get past it.
Best wishes,
Den

Hang in there. It will get better.
I find myself taking my mask off at night, around 3:30. I'm not sure why.
The rainout thing may have something to do with it.
But I have been on CPAP for six weeks and feel great. Don't give up!!

WooHoo! Life is good.
I get a little cocky when I am "NO LONGER TIRED"

The only times (plural) I pulled my mask off was in a hotel room colder than my home and I was getting rainout. At least, that's how I reconstructed it.
This was before I bought a heated hose. My solution then was to turn down the humidifier and turn up the thermostat (the maid must have bumped it down to 65F -- I was freezing!).

I know when my mask comes off, it is when I cannot breathe and I feel like I am suffocating.
I don't do that very often as my husband believes in homeopathy and herbs so my mask is staying on more and more and coming off less and less.

Those must be some sticky herbs your husband uses. LOL ...as long as they keep your mask on.

They have to do with breathing. respiratory.
They are not heavy or sticky at all.
He has all kinds of books on herbs and conditions the herbs are used for.
