World wide pricing of S9

I live in Thailand and was diagnosed with sleep apnea recently and after some internet research decided I wanted a S9 machine.

I was happy to find that Resmed have a local distributor in Bangkok so contacted them to find out the price of a S9, I was told that the S9 is not yet available in Thailand but I could get an S8 for 100,000 Thai Baht and masks where available from 8000 Thai Baht, this works out at US$3,100 and US$250 respectively

Needless to say I was quite shocked to be quoted these prices after seeing how much similar equipment was being sold in the US, I was expecting to pay a bit more but not that much.

Luckily I work for a US company and am due to travel to the US this weekend, so I ordered from a US company and have had my items delivered to the hotel and will start my new live as a hosehead on Monday. Looking forward to a full nights sleep.

Paid just over US$1200 for an S9, H5i and mask, quite a good saving over Thailand prices

Only disappointing part is not being able to buy the Resmed software hopefully I will find it on a torrent site
