easy way to clean "aussie" hose

I plugged both ends using a "TipTop" brand plastic wine cork (maroon colored) after adding soapy water. No leaks. It is much better method than putting plastic wrap around the ends.

I've been thinking about the same thing for the climate line hose. I imagine if you took a couple 2ft. lengths of standard hose and some of those little acrylic hose connectors, you could keep the electronic parts far enough away from the sink to make it possible to wash the inside without getting the exterior electronics wet.

Alternatively, you can buy a plastic connector (used to connect two sections of hose to make a single, longer hose). Put soapy water, or water-vinegar solution into the hose, join the two ends together, and "swish" it around. No leaks!
I'm workin' on it.
