Using S9 without humidifier on boat tube problem

Post by OzStag » Sat Apr 03, 2010 1:44 am

I am a new user & have my S9 on a boat over Easter.
I am using a 600watt inverter on a 12volt power source.
I tried to use the humidifier however I was not satisfied that there was sufficient battery backup available for the 90watt drain.
I then tried to insert the Climateline hose into the bare S9 and found that it did not fit.
Anyone had this problem?

The ClimateLine has a special connector on the end that connects to the H5i, so unfortunately no it will not connect directly to the S9. You need to use the SlimLine hose that should have also come with the machine.

I received both the SlimLine and ClimateLine hose when I purchased the S9 and H5i although I believe the ClimateLine in some countries is extra and the machine should come standard with the SlimLine hose.
