My Resmed S8 software version 3.07.007 stops recording after about 10 hours. I normally put my mask on and lie down about 8:30 or 9PM while watching TV or reading. My software doesn't record data after about 10 hours. Any way to extend this time?

Re: Resmed software doesnt record full night?
I have never slept for 10 hours in a 24 hr span of time so haven't seen that problem, best I have ever got is 8-9 hrs. Does it stop storing data at the same time consistently? Does it look like data from one day is running over into another day? You might check the time settings in the S8 and see if they are set up for 12:00p to 12:00a, which would be what you want. It is looking for all data within a 24 hour window, that window of time is adjustable and should be set according to your sleep habits. People that work at night and sleep during the day would have to set the window of time differently...does that make sense?engransan106 wrote:My Resmed S8 software version 3.07.007 stops recording after about 10 hours. I would make sure you have the time set correctly on the machine. ResMed classify a day as starting at Midday and not 00:01, so if your clock is set maybe in the wrong timezone or is off by 5 hours then that might be a cause of it. I've never slept for more than 10 hours so can't comment on whether it hasn't recorded after 10 hours but it should do. I know it records up to about 9 hours from what I've seen.

Thanks for the suggestions.I do not sleep all those hours.I use the machine while reading etc before sleep but I suppose my machine doesn't know that.. I'll check my time setting.
How do I Adjust the time window?

Your S8 II looks at each 24 hour period... its not really adjustable (for example to make it less than 24 hrs) but the start and stop times are always 12 noon until the next 12 noon - "LOCAL TIME"engransan106 wrote:" It is looking for all data within a 24 hour window, that window of time is adjustable and should be set according to your sleep habits."

Trouble is... like all your clocks... it doesn't know what your local time is. Your need to go in the Clinician Menu and re-set that time. I'm guessing its wrong for your local time.
You need to access the Clinical Menu in your machine. I do not have that machine but according to the guide:
You push down the right and up/down buttons for 3 seconds...
Use the up/down key to scroll to Options...
Push Enter and scroll to time...
Push Enter to change time...
It will likely be in 24 hour clock...
Once you have the correct time push enter then exit back out of the menu to get to your control panel.
If you don't have the Clinician Guide for your S8 II... then post a thread and ask. There will be many. I just got that instruction from the S7 Guide.
That should get you through this...
