Machine Longevity

I am using a REMStar Plus M Series and have had it for about two years without a problem. What maintenance do these machines need (aside from filter changes)? What type of longevity should I expect?

Most manufacturers usually suggest a service every couple of years but I'm not sure that many people have them serviced, only just to check that the pressure is still the same in fixed pressure CPAP mode.

Manufacturers suggest that most machines should last for 10-15 years if treated well.

Thanks
Dave
