no, but I would also like to know how the pillow size compares. I am trying to get an FX on friday. I wear a small pillow in the Swift LT.

The first thing is that the mask should come with three pillow sizes, usually small, medium and large. The medium are usually fitted out of box and is what ResMed usually suggest for most patients. Personally I find the Small ones more comfortable for me and provide less leaks.

If you didn't receive the mask with all three pillows then I would contact your DME/Supplier and ask them why you didn't receive all three pillows with the mask.

I have two pieces of advice about the FX.
1. I find that if I place the strap behind my head and then grip the mask and spread the pillows apart a little to insert them, it fits perfectly.
2. I use Ayr gel to slightly moisten my nares and enjoy a very good seal all night long.

I went back to my LT after my first couple of nights on the FX before I got the FX zeroed in.

Good luck,
TerryB

I have never received all of the sets of pillows. When I went to the LT, my DME sized me for ex-small. They didn't work at all and I used small pillows I had from regular Swift LT. When they call to send my replacement pillows I told them I needed the small.
Just the way things work at most DMEs over here.

I suspect unfortunately they then pass the ones they keep onto the next patient that asks for the size they have that they didn't give to the previous patient.

When they order the mask they get all three pillow sizes, so they really should provide you with all three. For me I have to pay for my masks (the full amount) and that's £105 - equiv to around $156 so for that price I absolutely demand everything that should be in the package
