I blame everyone here...
I blame everyone here...
...for enabling me to successfully reach my one year anniversary as a hosehead. Thanks to all of you, I am 100% compliant, masking up all night, every night.
I shudder to think of where I would be if I hadn't found this forum right after my diagnosis and before I purchased anything for my treatment.
I don't post a lot, but I do come here nearly everyday to learn more - there's always more to learn. Thanks to all of you "regulars" who patiently answer the questions of the new folks.
Lisa

I will also echo the "thank you" to all of you who reguarly help us newbies. Because of this forum, I have learned so much, became empowered to stand up for myself, demand and GET a data-capable machine (software is on the way) and just generally feel that I have some knowledge and control. I too am 100% compliant in my third month and am not at all sure I would be without this forum.

Lisa, congratulations!!
"100% compliant, masking up all night, every night" -- way to go, Lisa!!
Hope you continue to do so well. That was good to hear.
Jeanette, you're going to be a cpap success, too.
Time will fly while you're having fun.
That first year milestone will be here in a flash!

To spread the blame around a little more, Tattooyu was my mentor. I was just a little behind him. Every time I had a problem, it seemed like he had just run into it and found a solution, so all I had to do was pay attention and learn. I learned about the Swift LT from one of Tattooyu's postings, and that made a huge difference for me.

I agree this is a great place to learn about cpap. I probably would have ferreted out some of the info I learned here but cpaptalk.com is certainly easier than spending lots of time googling.
