I appreciate the Hozer system.

This past weekend I was away, and didn't take it. I did miss the Hozer. It's sturdy, readily gives to allow you to turn at night, and easy to set up and use. (I leave one of the extension pieces out.)

The base assembles easily and slips under the mattress. The swiveling arm simply sets into the base. During the day, I remove the arm from the base and lay it behind the pillows on the bed with the hose and mask still attached so that it is out of sight--primarily because I have a cat who might perceive the thing as his new toy.

It takes a little adjusting to get the hose attached at the right point so to take the weight of the mask, etc. Once I found the right spot, I put a little pin in the covering on my heated hose....so I can always find the spot back after I remove the hose to travel etc.

It's a little much for travel, and so tend not to take it........but I have. It's light weight, but the base is bulky for travel.

An added bonus.......leaks and numbers went down with the Hozer.

Just ordered one too. I must admit I was a little worried that one of my cats might decide to play with it while I was attached at the other end. We'll see.

My cat has never bothered it...even when I left it up during the day.

The Hozer just looks like something he'd like.

The scaredy cat seems to take off, the minute I turn on the cpap--so maybe he sees it as an extension of the machine.

(another added benefit of cpap.......no cat sleeping on or near me )

Enjoy your coming Hozers!

I use it. Love it. It's quick to set up and take down. Easy to pack when I travel. (It takes up way less space than my Calamari surge protector!)

It has one small drawback, and that's that the loop on the end is not designed to go over a hose with a cover -- but I fixed that with a strip of velcro.

I forgot it last summer when I was traveling, and darn near went crazy without it.

Can't imagine doing my xPAP therapy without it.

Instead of velcro on the end when I first had the extra cover on the sleepzone heated hose, I clipped a small opening in the extra fleece cover and just inserted the clip into the opening and around the hose. I've since decided the extra cover was overkill and too heavy and removed it.....

I love the Hozer! Made a huge difference in my comfort, getting the hose totally out of the way. Since I had some extra bongo ties lying around for my guitar cables, I decided to try that to hold the hose (w/Padacheek cover) onto the Hozer. Works great!

THIS IS A PLUG!
I had a Hozer and found it a pain in the rear when traveling or switching sleeping locations -- - --- - I use the CozyHoze Boss™ made by a cpcptalk person Bret -- It's small enough to fit in your shirt pocket and weight is in the OZ. range.
http://www.pur-sleep.com/products/produ ... ategory=13 I've used ti on the train an on a ship & Camping!

You might also find that the Image CPAP Desensitization system that has also made my CPAP LIVABLE for the past 4 years.

THIS A PLUG, TOO!

Like Bert I bought and travel with the CozyHose Boss System. I did not like the Hozer because it was too many parts to travel with.

With the CozyHose Boss System the hose is suspended over my head I have no hose problems with changing positions.

Yes it will fit in your pocket, but it is so small I leave it attached to my hose when traveling.

It your need one to travel with give this one a try. I bought it from cpap.com. It comes with their name on it.

I have it and I love it. It gives me more freedom in bed with it....

I don't take it with me with travel...I leave it and the hose that behind, and take a different hose and other management techniques.

Last trip I used the CPAP Hose Lift from Arden Innovations. It did an adequate job, and its somewhere to hang my mask during the day....

The Dreamer.

I bought one due to this thread. I am glad I did. No more "snakes" wrapping around me like a boa constrictor.

I received mine a few days ago. What a difference! The Hozer took the weight of the hose and it was like having no hose attached to me at night. And no more worries about accidentally pulling my machine and the heated humidifier over when I toss and turn.

I didn't buy the Hozer because I travel a lot and it didn't seem especially compact when broken down. I got the hose lift below instead and have been quite happy with it. It's a bit simpler, but it packs down well and is about 1/3rd the cost of the Hozer.

I was dreaming of wrangling snakes a lot before I got my HoZer. I love it and I find it very easy to travel with. It is easy to take down and reassemble and fits easily in my "PAP crap" travel bag.

The mask I use routes the hose toward my feet, so my HoZer stand is under the mattress about where my knees are. It keeps the hose off of me and the bed, and also keeps my mask hose tangle free. I find it very easy to turn over and side sleep with it.
