Sleep Apnea and Daylight Savings Time -

Post by ka-ann » Sat Mar 13, 2010 1:27 pm

Hi,
Those of you who have been on CPAP for a while, how did the time changes affect you? I usually have a really hard time adjusting to DST and I am afraid this is going to magnify the problems I already have with CPAP. I have just recently got to the point where I go to bed and sleep some. In the last 3 nights I have been able to go to sleep, get up midway through the night for a bathroom break, and then go right back to sleep and sleep till it is time to get up. I feel I am just beginning to find "normal" after YEARS of abnormal. Those of you who have some insomnia and are sensitive to these changes, do you have any suggestions? Btw, I have completely stopped taking any kind of sleep aids and don't want to go back there. That was horrible to get off of!!
Thanks
Karen
