My S9 AutoSet arrived today

Post by KatieW » Fri Mar 12, 2010 4:52 pm

Yes, did it. It was the Climate Control that lured me in.

Congratulations, Katie! You're going to have an exciting weekend with your new machine!

I hope that you'll share with us how you do with the S9 versus your S8 AutoSet. I feel myself weakening too....but I still have the will to resist as of this moment. I really do need to try an APAP!

Yeah - I weakened myself. Make sure you actually call them at cpcp.com - the price over the phone kicks butt and takes names.

I wonder if the prices will change now because of Resmed's new policy.

I don't think so. https://www.cpap.com clearly says that over the phone ordering is not affected by the new policy. But you have to call them for their best price.

I have been willing my DME to call and let me know my S9 has arrived, but no dice. My new copay is 10% with no deductible, so it's cheaper to go through my DME than online; the waiting however is brutal.

I can get a maximum of $1000 for a machine every three years. (70% up to a max of $1000) If I get the machine here, best price is $1999 and I can get it for less than $999 via cpap.com. They don't ship here but I have a friend...

Katie,
I'm happy for you. You are the person who pointed out to me to remove my water tank before filling on my S8. Is the water tank on S9 easier to fill?

Yes it is, but I'm still going to take it out before filling.

It's all washed and set up for bedtime. And I need to get a SD card reader tomorrow. I actually called cpap.com because the folder holding the data card was empty--turns out they ship it "in" the cpap.

I'm waiting to see how others get on with the S9, for me I'm finding it much better than the S8 and really loving the machine, especially the Climate Control Katie!

One at a time we're all converting to the new S9, it won't be long now before you're into the Borg collective, resistance is futile

Hope yours arrives soon!

Me too, I have always been a jealous tech accumulator and you guys are killing me with your shiny, new, and apparently more effective, machine. My wife laughed at my last night because I scrolled through the CallerID logs ust in case they called and didn't leave a message.
