Hybrid fitting question

I was excited to receive my new Innomed Hybrid mask recently but am having a fitting issue, despite having followed the numerous suggestions on this board and the product instructions.

The mouth seal works great, but the nasal seal doesn't, and I think the problem may be the fairly long distance between the top of my upper lip and the bottom of my nose (I don't know the medical name for this part of the face, but it seems to be a distinguishing feature in my family). Even with the nasal pillows inserted on the tall setting, the slightest flaring of my nostrils lifts them off the top of the pillows.

If I can't get the nasal pillows to go up any higher, is there any way to hold the nostrils down? Anybody else out there with a similarly shaped face that has been able to use the Hybrid? (It would be helpful if the company could just say not to bother trying if the distance between your upper lip and nostril exceeds a certain distance.)

I assume your using the Large faceial interface? and the right diameter of nasal ineterface. If it is still short , then this mask may not be for you. You might try the Liberty in a large format.

Two things. First you should try adjusting the headgear so that the mouth cushion is higher on your face. This may solve the problem. If not, try using a larger mouth cushion and again adjust the headgear so it is high enough on your face to properly seat the nasal pillows.

Are you using the mask with the chinflap in place? I found after removing the chin flap, the mask was much more adjustable, easier to fit, and cooler and chin irritation went away.

I found my way to the website for fitting tips when I bought mine.
Best tip was to put the pillows in FIRST and the mouth part last.

Roster how did you remove the chinflap? I find it irritating, fits too snug and end up taking the mask off because of it. Otherwise i like the mask.

You might want to try it on a mouth cushion size that you don't use and give it a trial. Once you cut it off, you can't put it back.
