First Night on CPAP

Post by JStaggie » Thu Mar 11, 2010 10:08 pm

Hello all,

At last, after holding it nearby for a few days so it would not be delivered even a moment early, UPS delivered my S9 today. I'm new to CPAP so tonight is my first try since the sleep study. Hoping it goes well.

Good luck tonight and please, let us know tomorrow how the night went for you.

I will be trying out my Swift FX this weekend.

OK, First night results:
So I made it 8 hours and really just work up once in the middle of the night, though it seemed to take me a while to fall asleep.
I'm not sure why everything was recorded as a Central--at the sleep study they didn't detect any centrals.

Total Hours Used: 8.07
Apnea Index: 0.8: Obstructive 0.0 Central 0.8
Hypoapnea: 0.1
AHI: 0.9
Leak: Median 0.0 95th Percentile: 13.2 Max: 40.8
From Rescan I can see 4 big leak events in the night--need to adjust the Swift FX.
Pressure: Median: 6.6 95th Percentile: 9.4 Maximum: 10.6

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.
