a question about pressure

Is it safe for me to raise the pressure on my machine without doctor permission from 8 to maybe only 9? I don't get to see my new doctor until 3/18 and I wanted to try some changes on my own in the meantime. Also, if it is ok, how do i do it? I have an Escape II machine. (want to change that soon, too)

The only time it might not be safe is if you have pretty clear problems with central sleep apnea or Complex Sleep Apnea. But for most people, bumping the pressure up by one is not a big issue.

But do keep track of how you feel. Obviously (as you noted), with the Escape, you will not KNOW for certain if it helps. Good luck!
