I'm having trouble locating the data files for my Encore data. I'd like to graph it along with my pulse ox data. Haven't found the right extension, short of saving it as an *.xml file. Can I save that step?? I was hoping to write a query into the database....
Thanks!

Re: Encore data files
Are you runing Encore Pro or Encore Viewer? The Data bases are completely different. The data that is saved is hard to read. The easiest way is to save it as a pdf file. Using a program like Primo PDF (free) it will let you "Print" to a pdf file and read it with Acrobat Reader.

Re: Encore data files
I'm using Encore Pro 1.8.49. I'd like to query into it from Excel, so a PDF is outta the question. I'd like to not manually move data everyday from a saved XML file but just let an Excel graph of my pulseOx and Encore data land in the same graph.
I read a post a while back that referred to a neo files that I can't seem to locate. I'm a Vista OS and it's taken a while to get in their lingo of searching!!! I still like wwhen they called in File Manager!! I resisted My Documents when XP came out! They make it any more friendly, I'll really be in trouble!!

Re: Encore data files
Nope the Neo files are used by Encore Viewer. Encore Pro uses the SQL data base. You will find the saved file under "Program Files", "Microsoft SQL Server", "MSSQL$EncorePro", then "Data". There are in 10 different files. I don't think you will be able to use them like this. It only converts them to a XML file if you export the file.

Re: Encore data files - Start of day
Not sure if this is the correct thread, but has anyone found a way to change the "Start of day" time or what ever Respironics calls it in Encore Pro 2.2?
In v.1.8 there was a preferences setting under [Patient Demographics] that allowed you to change the time of the start of your sleep day from the default setting (which is 12 noon), to say.. 0600. This was especially helpful for those of us who work nights, and who sleep during the day. Otherwise, your sleep data (say.. 0900 - 1700) is split into two parts since it spans over the lunchtime noon hour, the first being added onto the last part of the day (night) before, and then your current day's sleep is cut off and stuck on the beginning of the next day. I would post a photo, but haven't figured out how to do it yet. (I know it's simple.. but not in the middle of the night while you're at work, it isn't...)
There's no "Patient Demographics - Start of Day" tab that I can find. I really can't believe they would leave that feature out.
Maybe, new and improved.. isn't always "better..."
Thanks in advance for any help.
