How does this relate to sleep apnea exactly? If it gives you stress and keeps you up, or makes your numbers worse, then I would say to NOT overclock.

(Don't forget to signify and off-topic post in your titles by putting "O/T" or "O.T.", etc.)

Overclocking a graphics card is something relatively new to me; I am familiar with the practice of overclocking a PC's CPU but that practice stopped years ago since the speed of CPU's is ever increasing rapidly.

I would suggest that overclocking graphics cards may conflict with drivers and capabilities of your monitor for one thing. Asides from that I don't see any real harm that can come from attempting to do this asides from wasting time and having to turn 'the clock back' as it were.

Interesting question. And the first time I have ever seen it.

As a matter of interest, clone graphics cards are so very cheap these days that it really does not pay to even make the attempt. For $50 or less just go out and get yourself a top of the line, faster than a train, graphics card, no?

Try KK at Astound Computers in Markham, Ontario if you are in the area. We buy all of our computers from KK and they are outstanding. Of course if you are not in the area you will have to find a local purveyor of white box computers and accessories. Go into a name brand store and you are likely to pay $200 for the same thing.

Do you remember overclocking CPM machines and Apple III's? All to squeeze an extra 10 or 20 percent in performance? Sic.
