Erectile Dysfution?

Post by stevenmason » Sun Feb 14, 2010 3:30 am

I'm not sure whether I should be using the prescription meds or the natural products like Virection or Wydenz. Can anyone tell me from their own experience?

I think it would be best if you ask your doctor first before taking any medication.

Agreed! This also includes suppliments. Just because you do not need a prescription does not mean they are safe. You do not need a prescription for a lot of over the counter medications. However, taken in the wrong dosages or with certain conditions can be ineffective at best and quite dangerous at worst.

Because it can be the "canary in the mine", if you have Erectile Dysfunction (ED), you should ALWAYS discuss this with doctor (primary care physician). It could be a sign of a serious underlying condition. It could indicate hypertension or high cholesterol or heart failure or diabetes. Or it might be just garden variety stress. But if it is a serious problem and you use an over the counter medication and/or suppliment (completely unregulated), then the consequences could be bad.

Or, by successfully using one's XPAP therapy, those "enhancement" medications would not be necessary.
