My technique for getting the hose through fleece cover

Post by SleepingUgly » Thu Feb 04, 2010 1:16 pm

Wrap the end of the hose in Glad Press and Seal Wrap. Then thread that end through the fleece cover. It will slide through with ease. It's superior to a plastic bag or to saran wrap because it's a bit tacky and will stick to the sides of the hose.

(It's great to put under the lids of items that you don't want to spill when you're traveling. It also works well for its intended kitchen purposes, too!)

Great ideas! I've been Velcro-ing a satin robe tie to one end and attaching the other end of the tie to a giant (6") paper clip and pulling it thru...your technic sounds easier!

I use a little satin drawstring bag to tie on the end of the rubber part of the hose and it slides right through the fleece hose cover --Karen gives them to you when you order Pad A Cheeks,

Go to Lowes or Home Depot or someone who sells plumbing parts. Buy a 12" long PVC 1/2" sprinkler riser $1.20. Get the hard pvc one, not the flexible cut off ones. Stick that into the end of the hose and it threads very easily through Padacheek's very nice hose cover.

Oh Tatooyu,
My big bad. I do make mistakes sometimes. (more often than I would like to admit) Glad I can catch this one and get you a little silky bag for your hose cover.

They are a bit a of a pain to put on without something to help. If anyone gets in a pinch, a sandwich bag can be used also.

Congrats on that new baby boy due in July. Happy Happy days ahead.

Karen

Just think of the two conditions as "cured". You will be careful about what you say about your wife. And the steak will be well cured. Two birds with one stone or fist or pot or ... Anyway, economical. Just as any wife managing a household prefers it. Two for one! Who can resist a deal like that!
