Anyone need a CPAP machine?

Post by DCTommy » Thu Sep 29, 2005 7:59 pm

I have a CPAP machine that I don't use anymore. It's less than 6 months old and in great condition. Anyone interested? Is it legal for me to sell a CPAP machine?

I am looking for a Goodnight 420e.

I have already bought a Remstar Auto from cpap.com which I am very pleased about but am now looking for something lighter to travel with, as I have problems with my wrists and am not able to carry heavy weights.

Is it a good night by any chance

I seriously doubt that *anyone* would be giving away a PB420E, it is hard enough to find them 2nd hand (scarce as hens teeth)

Like saying I have a spare current model mercedes - any one want it

Cheers

DSM

PS But, we can expect to see a few 2nd hand ResMed Sprits or Tsets come on the market in increasing numers as loaner & other gear gets updated/replaced with the replacement ResMed S8 family.

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)

DSM Thank you for your response.

I was actually looking to buy a second hand 480e. Nobody mentioned a freebe as far as I can see.

Possibly someone who has tried it and for what ever reason does not like it or get on with it and now wishes to sell it.

I was just asking, that is all.

FiFi,
(sorry I misread the original post - thought it was a giveaway)
If you would like me to let you know if any ResMed Spirit or Tsets come on the market am happy to PM you. They do crop up from time to time & can sell as low as $200 + P&H (excl h/h - can get these for approx $100) - I wouldn't pay more than $250 but depending on who is selling & where they can get almost as high as $500 2nd hand.

Re PB420Es - I have never actually seen a 2nd hand one for sale.

Cheers

DSM

Thanks DSM But the weight of the machine is a problem for me. If I travel with someone and they carry my luggage, that is fine.

I would like to do some travelling on my own, but could not carry the weight of the remstar so probably travelling alone is out for me at the moment, unless I had a much lighter machine. I know I am probably hoping for a miracle, but who knows.

I think the spirit is the same weight as my remstar, so it probably would not help me with my predicament. Thanks any way.

I wish DCTommy would get back to me.

My friend has no insurance and if the price is right I know she would be very interested in the machine.

In case Fifi doesn't see my pm, pm me, I think I have just what you want. Because I wear earplugs when I sleep, I am not getting along with the sound of my PB 420e, and would be interested in selling it. Just let me know.

Cheers,
BP

I also would be interested in buying a 420e for my son, who also has no insurance.
He also travels a lot and would like a smaller machine. So please put me in line

Josie

I haven't been able to sleep with mine yet---pb420e. If I want to sell it, I will let y'all know. I think I may try a different mask. I have a swift and a comfort gel.

FiFi---Do you have software for the respironics. Would you be interested in trading the respironics for the pb420?

I think this is a scam because DCTommy has not tried to contact me nor, has he posted anything else on the forum.

I noticed in his post that he does not mention what type of CPAP machine he has for sale.

Am I missing something here?

This lady is a mother and a wife. and has the same auto-immune diseases I have.
