Swift Nasal Pillow

I have been using the Swift Nasal Pillow for 3 months.Recently I have been experiencing a lot of leaks whenever I turn on my side to sleep which wakes me up. I have changed the nozzles a couple of times with no relief. I need some advice on whether I should change to a mask or is there a better Nasal Pillow on the market?. I read a thread about Breeze dilators and am thinking about giving it a try.

Try buying a pillw (the one that supports your head) and cut it with a bread knifeso that your mask doen't rub it. There's a good pic on here somewhere- maybe someone else can chime in.

Which Swift nasal pillows mask are you using - the SwiftLT or the Swift 11?

The SwiftLT pillows don't last very long (the "newer " ones last maybe a month). In a very short time they will lose their shape easily and be difficult to seal. There has been a lot of discussion about this on the forum. Some have modified the SwiftLT with Breeze pillows or dilators and replaced just the pillows of the Swift LT with the pillows (dilators) of the Breeze. I did that with the pillows with good success and the Breeze pillows last longer. I have ordered some Breeze dilators (fit farther in the nose than pillows) to try those too. You can do a search about Swift/Breeze modifications.

If you are referring to the Swift 11, I don't think there is a pillow problem with that one. If you use the Swift 11 and like it, you may just want to replace the pillows.

I wonder if you are washing your pillows every day. I find, even with the poor quality pillows of the SwitLT, they tend seal better with a daily wash in mild soap and warm water.

I use the Swift LT Nasal Pillow and I do wash it everyday. I read about the Aeiomed Headrest with Nasal seal kit. Have anyone tried this and have no leaks as advertised?.

The SwiftLT is the one with the problem pillows.

There are lots of people using the Headrest and they seem to really like it.

I'm sure they will be along to tell you about it.
