DRY mouth with FF and nasal mask with taping. Help!
I was told to wear a full face mask because I am a mouth breather. My mouth still opens when I sleep and gets very dry. I've taped it shut, used the FF mask and still have a bad dry mouth. Now I'm using a Comfort Gel Nasal mask and taping my mouth closed. My mouth still becomes very dry from the air blowing. I'm talking painfully dry and my gums are also being bothered by the dryness. I've turned the humidifier up and down, but nothing seems to make a difference. I've tried Oasis and Biotene rinses before I go to bed. Your help would really be appreciated.

It looks like I am listening to myself. I have posted several similar question about this, and here is my solution.
When you are in a deep sleep the jaw is relaxed, so you start blowing air from the mouth. Tape not always fix this problem (without a little tweaking it) when you have a high pressure (I have 15), the tape is not match for the air pressure.
I fixed this turning my lips in ( I put chap stick first) and then I put tapes vertically to cover my mouth and then one more horizontal covering the other 3. This way the seal is very tight (sometimes the air escapes but is so little that it does not affect therapy nor dryness in the mouth.)
Just be sure you cover the lips completely and rub your fingers on top of it to create a good seal. Test it blowing air and you will see.
Remember to leave one end folded so it can be use to remove the tapes in case of emergency.

I also mouth tape and one thing that I notice is that I dare not sleep on my back! My mouth gets so dry I cannot move my tongue. Also, check if your pressure isn't too high.
