Hmm. No selection for me.

Before my severe sleep apnea was treated, I found I often needed naps. My most-used tool in my office was my recliner. But after a few weeks on PAP therapy and consistently getting 7 hours of effective sleep a night, I now rarely have any desire or need for a nap. I literally went from nodding off at red lights to now not even nodding off during boring lectures.

PAP has really been good for my feelings of self-Epworth.

Love it!

I used to be a sleep grazer - in and out around the clock. Now I have extended periods of hours with no napping, In the last 4 years, I think I could count the days on one hand that I've made it thru the day without a nap.

I do love naps, but rarely take one since successful treatment with cpap. Not that I can't, but I don't need to and when I want to take one, I normally can't. I have however taken some naps when I was sick a couple times and after my surgery last summer.

I hate naps. They always made me feel really bad like I was awakened in the middle of the night fuzzy and dopey. Never took them even when I was in my worst shape (except un intentionally in front of the tv)

Plus I feel I have wasted valuable day light time.

I never take a nap on purpose (like lie down to sleep), but sometimes, the nap takes me by surprise while sitting in my recliner. Hate that!

Ha! I worked too many years looking forward to nap times. I take my naps in my bed w/my CPAP and mask.

Only problem is ... *sigh* ... I don't need them that much any more.

All those years working to earn them ..... *sigh*

It seems the ONLY place I can nap... is on the recliner or couch in front of the TV... with the TV on.

Napping under any other circumstances just is not going to happen... at least for me.

I recently spend several afternoons and evenings during the holidays flopped in front of the TV in said condition... in and out of consciousness. After doing this I have come to the realization that I don't spend nearly enough time relaxing like this.

Maybe I should get a recliner....the only places I've surprise napped have been like while behind the wheel doing 120km/h on the number 1...or sitting in an office chair....at least it has been cataplexy leading to qwertyitis.

There was also that time I did while listening to my (now ex) girlfriend perform the cello....

I take a nap every single day. It's not just for 20 minutes, it's a few hours. I love taking naps, always have. Guess I was a cat in another life, .

I nap once in a while if I am unable to get good sleep at night. Like if I babysit and get home late or something. Other than that, I no longer nap. I sometimes nod off at work when the lights are out, but the kids know to wake me.

Yep Vorpel bunny here!

Since the sun rises around 7:30 and sets around 4:20 right now - daylight is important to me.
