OT: Who posted on this topic

I just clicked my mouse by mistake on the number of responses to a random post, and got a screen showing
Who posted on that topic, and how many posts.

5 years on the board (almost) and this is the first I've seen it.

Not that I didn't believe you, just had to look for myself. First time for me too.

So does that qualify as an Easter Egg?

Now I'm going to see what other "clickable" treasures loom around here...

heheh, yeah, ever since reading about ozij's find, I've been holding my mouse over other things on the board to see if a little hand appears like it did on the number of replies thingy.

Very interesting. I guess we have all been too busy to notice little things like that. Time to slow down and smell the flowes. Well I can't say view the Christmas decorations around the logo above they are gone.

I notice that if one places the mouse on a topic and DOESN"T click, it says either "New posts" or "No New Posts".
What does that mean?
I think it means that there have been "new posts" since you last looked, or that there haven't been.

Great find, O.! That is very useful.

I wish there was a way to automatically get notified by e-mail every time certain ones of my favorite posters post. Or is there?

Ok, I know this one is obvious, but I'd just never paid any attention till now. But when opening a thread there is the option to start reading where we left off last time. That is a jewel for me on the longer ones cause I often can't remember what page I last was reading. If it was a snake it....

Has anyone tried the Friends option on the user control panel? (I haven't).

O.

I've used it, hoping it had an option for getting notified of their posts. But I never found that option.
