Encore and Centrals?

Post by littleredtree2 » Fri Jan 01, 2010 11:56 am

Good Morning everyone. And HAPPY NEW YEAR.

My question is related to the Encore Report I read every morning.

Does it show Centrals some place

I think someone mentioned that Non-Responsive Apnea/Hypopnea Index was for Centrals??

That's how I understand it.

I have only ever had 1 in the 2 years I have been following my data. A few now and then are nothing to worry about. Sometimes they even register when we are awake as do apneas. That's my experience.

thanks for the fast anwser...
I have been watching for them, as I adjust my Pressure. So far not one has shown up.

The dr said that I have them. Sometimes I doubt that I did. Maybe just a way to get you in and buy more equipment? I don't know. Just glad they don't show up.

It will only record Non-Responsive (centrals) if you are running in Auto mode. The Auto mode will raise the pressure trying to restore breathing. If it does not work it will record it as Non-Responsive. As I understand it.

I do use the auto.
That just makes me feel even better as my numbers keep dropping.
