Yes, Happy New Year everyone!
Sorry, but I still don't get all excited over this holiday.
I just got back from making the rounds of 3 grocery stores and the Wal-Mart... argh! Most people look cranky, are pushy and I see very little good will towards fellow man out there right now. Everyone seems to be shopping for those "gotta have or I won't be happy" last minute items. Funny, I see less crankyness and more good will when I'm out and about in the city than up here... strange.
There are a whole bunch of parties happening all over town... funny but most of them seem to involve seniors groups for which I'm eligible apparently. I wonder if they will all be cranky there as well... maybe they just save the crankiness for strangers. <shrug>
At 7pm this evening mom and I are heading over to her friends place who has invited some folks from the church over for the evening. This was supposed to happen on Boxing day... but I'm just as glad it is happening this evening. I'm not dancing... thats right... NO dancing. I might have a drink.

I've only been on CPAP 3 months. As I get older it's rare to be able to know in advance that next year will definitely be better than the last. I'm going to savor that.
Happy New Year to my fellow forum members!

Happy New Year!!! Over here in New York, people have been lining up in their spots to watch the ball drop in Times Square since early this morning. They're crazy. Well I wish all of you guys a happy, healthier and prosperous new year.

Hmmm,
Last year seems sooo long ago (we Sydneysiders are real party poopers when it comes to early New Year celebrations )
BUT, ignoring our early passing,
A ___H-A-P-P-Y___ N-E-W___Y-E-A-R
- to everyone no matter what time zone.
Snorebert (Clark) - loved that pic of the moon snagged in a tree - whoever was driving the moon at the time musta been 'smashed' - but it made for a fantastic pic )
