I must have joined at a time you didn't post or missed them, but getting your last chemo treatment is indeed a reason to celebrate! Congratulations. I am probably wrong, but it seems like the treatment is worse than the disease. You did it!

Rough way to end 2009, but a great way to start a new year. May 2010 usher in swift recovery from this ordeal and many things good in your life.

Thanks! Yes I have been busy and sick since June and after the bilateral mastectomy, I had complications and was down for 2 months. I started chemo with adriamycin/cytoxan in August and it was all I could do to eat, sleep, and work. Ian finishing 4rounds of gadolinium that is easier, but with different side effects. I miss the forums. As I am a passionate sleep tech, ft and wear cpap. :-
The Goodmans have been good to me during sleep week as pursleep and padacheek! Many here have been so supportive.

Lisa,
I am so sorry you have had a rough 2009, hopefully the new year will bring more joys than challenges.
Congratulations for finishing up Chemo, I think it is PARTY TIME..... You are a survivor and an inspiration to others with similar challenges in their lives. Thanks for sharing.

Take care,

Karen

Lisa,

At least you are FINISHING the chemo as you FINISH the year!

May the new year bring all that you hope for!

I, too, have dealt with cancer. So far, my tests are negative... (Only 3.5 years to go! But who's counting?) I wish you the same. Negative tests all the way.

Well done! Keep up the positive attitude!

When my wife was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, it seems odd, but the one thing that she said was that she wanted to live to see was the day when our oldest son (then six years old) could learn to drive. After mastectomy and chemo she has remained cancer free. And our oldest? He turned 26 last November and has been driving since he was 16.

Have a great 2010! And the year after that, and the year after that, and next.........
