card reader for ResScan

Post by Ms.Snuffleupagus » Tue Dec 29, 2009 10:08 pm

Hi,
I am planning to get the ResScan 3.7 software for my autoset II and the card reader. I know it is sold on this site. As I live in Canada, I want to see if there is a cheaper option. The software is available on eBay. Do I need to buy the specific card reader for my machine (Resmed ResScan Smart Card Reader) or will a generic one do?

There have been several threads on modifying a generic card reader lately. But unless you like doing computer related stuff, I would recommend just going with the Resmed Card Reader, because it's easier.

I sent you a PM.

Unless you are extremely patient and a computer expert, or have access to one, I would suggest the ResScan Card Reader ($65). It may be $30-35 more than the the generic one, but after following the thread below the last several days, it's worth every penny more to me.

Good Luck! See your messages.
