My primary mask is the Comfortgel nasal mask because it's the only mask that seals without leaks for me and doesn't injure my nose. When I want a change, I use Opus 360 nasal pillows. I have to tape my mouth with these, but I haven't found a full face mask that will seal and not kill my nose. I plan to try the Hybrid mask when I can afford another one to try.

Results about what I would expect, Nasal Masks, why? Because they are the most profit per sale wheather they are the best treatment option or not. (Mouthleaking)

FF mask, because better treatment under mouthleaking and congestion issues. Jim

Primary Pillow, secondary Mirage Quattro FFM--

I can't get the leaks under control with the FFM, so it is for if I get sick etc.

I want to get a hybrid next time-- the DME who sold me the ffm told me she has had poor results with the hybrid, but I have heard lots of people here say they like them. Maybe I wouldn't have to look like a bank robber to control the leaks...

I think that is the DMEs stock answer for items they don't want to stock or sell, for whatever reason. My dr and (former) DME said the same thing about the Nasal Aire II, which I never have any problems with.

The Comfortgel nasal mask is the only one I have dealt with so far...although I am very new to the cpap world. I think I would like to try a nasal pillow instead. The comfortgel forms a decentl seal, but it feels heavy on my face and leaves red impressions (on my cheeks) no matter how much I loosen the straps. I'm learning.....

I have a Comfortgel full and a Quattro. The Quattro was my first and was leaking horribly- the DME sold me the comfortgel instead but let me keep both. Neither is working as good as I'd like at the current moment, but what can I do- I've got another month at least before I can get another mask. I'm going to try a hybrid, and I have no shame in getting a new mask every two months like my insurance allows until I can find one that works.

My primary and secondary are both pillows - LT and Opus 360 (don't really know which I would consider primary). I have tried Hybrid and FullLife - neither of which worked for me.

I have a Swift Mirage II that I use all of the time I got a Optilife I used it at my sleep study brought it home used it twice don't like the chin strap. I have a Comfort Gel but I only use it if I am having problems with my Swift. Since the RT at the sleep lab fixed my mask to fit me I will probably not need to use it.

Nasal Aire II nasal prong is my favorite mask.No leaks, no marks on the face in the morning and relatively inexpensive.

I have the Comfortlite 2 and the Headrest, both nasal pillows, which are my primaries.

I use a Zzz-mask full face for when I am sick. I've never found a leak rate chart for it, but I do know my leaks are around double, sometimes triple what I have with my nasal pillows. It's better having SOME therapy, but full face is emphatically not fully effective for me.

Comfort Gel nasal, and Quattro FF for me.
My choices have nothing to do with the poll numbers, or the cost of the masks. Plain and simple, these two masks work for me.

after two years now with the help of Wulfman, Rested Gal & many others advise & input from their experience . i persevered to find the holy grail of the perfect interface. from full face, nasal & the swift II and graduated to the aeiomed headrest nasal pillow w/ passover humidifier & never looked back. leak line , results are great. we are all different , what works for one will not for another. that's why this forum by Johnny is such a God send * HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL*
