questions on ResScan 3.7

Post by jjocelyn » Mon Dec 28, 2009 8:15 pm

Hi,
I have just installed the ResSCan 3.7 in my computer. How come it's just the smart card reader and the USB adaptor drivers? As my smart card reader is still on its way to be delivered to us, i can't use it right now.

What's the ResScan 3.7 actually for? just the driver for the card reader?
Can't try it now, but just wondering.
Thanks.

The ResScan software reads the data off the Smart Card from your unit. As your husband uses the unit, it will record events that it sees (the number of apneas, the number of hypopneas, the pressure changes it decided were needed to minimize those events). He can then SEE how he slept. It will allow you to adjust the pressure (to minimize the change in pressure) to help him sleep as well as possible.

While you're waiting for your card reader, you could download the driver. And print the ResScan Clinical Guide, and look through it. Then, once you get your card reader, you'll be all set.
